A terracotta-toned villa set among old olive trees, holding the sea on one side and the hill on the other.
The site came with mature olives and dry-stone terraces we were determined to keep. The house steps down the slope in two long volumes, so each level opens onto its own terrace without overshadowing the one below.
Inside, travertine runs from the entrance through to the master bathroom, where a monolithic stone tub sits against a full-height opening onto the olive grove.
